1. Our Chief engineer graduated in 1991 from Hubei Polytechnic University Molding major and started work for mold design since 1991 for plastic injection molding, especially good at over-molding. And since 2002 to start to design LSR injection molding. Until 2016, he has designed 5086 sets plastic and silicone injection molds.

FAQ

1. Q:

Why there is extra cost or MOQ for changing color or hardness of LSR?

A:

     --As there is a long material pipe from raw material to the mold and the material is very thick, if need to change color or hardness, then, need to use colored material or requested hardness material to wash the pipe, at least need 20-30kgs material.

2. Q:

Why need to confirm split line and material gate before mold building?

A:

Cold runner mold price higher than hot runner mold, but hot runner mold material wastage during production more than cold runner mold. So, if quantity is small, can consider to use hot runner mold, and if quantity is large, to use cold runner mold would be better

3. Q:

How many ways to stick metal, plastic and LSR?

A:  Two ways, one is there is a self-stick material which can use to do injection of over-molding, but for this material, not for all kinds of over-molding material, some can stick well, some can not, and the price is around 3 times higher than normal LSR material. Another way is to use special glue to stick.

4. Q:

Does any glue can use to stick LSR and other material?

A:  No, only special glue. LSR is very stable, especially after molding, it would be very hard to stick together.
